When trapping in adverse weather conditions the MJ600 can’t be beat. This is probably the best coyote and bobcat trap on the market. I’ve never had an animal get out of one of these traps. Even mountain lions have met their match if caught in an MJ600. They endure the meanest nastiest coyote out there. You get what you pay for and the MJ600 is by far the finest coyote trap available.

I trap coyotes and bobcats in mountain lion country and the MJ-600 is by far the best trap I have ever used. These traps do an excellent job on coyotes and bobcats yet can withstand the biggest meanest mountain lion in the state. Mountain lions destroy small traps but not the Sterling MJ-600. I also use some older MJ-600 traps from Glenn Sr and the new MJ-600 traps are just as good as the older model. Yes, they are expensive but well worth every dime. Predators do not get out of these traps; they are relatively easy to set with the appropriate setters and bed like no other trap on the market. Not having a loose jaw is a plus in itself. These are awesome traps and will purchase nothing else in the future.
When I first started trapping yotes, I would get to the set to find jaws pulled out of the trap frame. Did all the modifications to make my traps back then function. If your time and money are worth anything to you, then Sterling's are the way to go. Highly recommend these traps .
After you get them and forget what they cost you will never look back on them! Best coyote traps ever made.
