Bridger #5 Long Spring Trap Setter

Works good but could use some rubber padding on the handle.

It only took me less then 40 seconds to set a number 4 only thing is I wish they had a way of connecting the little pcs that goes on the spring so I made something to hold it on the trap so I don’t loose it

Purchased this setting tool to compress the springs on my Bridger #5 long spring foothold traps. Should have bought one years ago. Can’t go wrong for the $$ spent on this safety tool.

Works on my #5 Duke long spring, but the gaps on the latch and clip are too wide for my #5 Bridgers.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I am using it for #4 double long springs. The clip is too large for the #4s, so I use a small pair of vise-grips to hold the first spring down while I move the setter to the second spring. The setter works extremely well and is a great product.
